在表示“情况、方面、状况”等词如case、point、conditions、situation、circumstances后加上where(相当于under which)，作定语从句，也只在定语从句中才可以这样用，因为只有定语从句才有先行词啊。eg.There is the situation where everyone has to face.每个人都必须面对的状况。where 引导的从句修饰前面的“状况”，所以where在这里并不是表示地点，不是状语从句。而地点从句（状从的一种）由where .wherever.anywhere.everywhere引导形成地点状语，有表示“…的地方”的意思。eg.Wherever you go,I’ll follow you.
situation后跟宾语从句用where还是that
应该是定语从句吧？
视情况而定，如果后面需要的是副词，就用where,如果需要的是主语或者宾语，就用that.
例如：I like the situatuon where we can speak English.
I like the situation that is good for me to speak English.
